Part II architectural assistant
Ben Pentreath has an opportunity for a Part II architectural assistant, with experience of working in a studio, to join its team in Bloomsbury, London.
Working with the private house team, the ideal candidate will have excellent technical and presentation skills along with a conscientious and sensitive approach to design.
A warm personality, enjoyment of working in small groups, excellent organisation and communication skills and a proactive approach to all areas of work will be key for this position.
A good working knowledge of Vectorworks is imperative; a clear understanding of SketchUp, Photoshop and other programs are advantageous. Hand drawing skills are also very welcome.
The practice is currently working on a variety of new build and restoration private residential projects and so experience in this sector would be beneficial.

Part 3 Architect with technical expertise
Ben Pentreath has an opportunity for a recently qualified Architect with strong technical expertise to join its team in Bloomsbury, London.
The ideal candidate will have at least one to three years’ experience post Part III, with experience of job running & contract administration combined with technical skills and a knowledge of current UK building regulations for RIBA stage 3 onwards. Presentation skills, drafting abilities, and a conscientious and sensitive approach to design are also essential.
A good working knowledge of CAD software, preferably Vectorworks; a clear understanding of SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop and other programs are advantageous. Hand drawing skills are also useful.
The practice is currently working on a variety of new build and restoration private residential projects, as well as a number of mixed-use commercial, hospitality and masterplanning schemes. Experience in these sectors would also be beneficial.
